Silverstone doesn’t disappoint

The final round of the ‘main’ season did not disappoint as the ten riders battled it out for the final four showdown positions. The thousands of fans trackside were treated to three incredible Superbike races, and it was great to see R&G-supported rider Tommy Bridewell take another podium. He’ll now go into the final three rounds as one of the Title Fighters, so everyone here at R&G would like to wish Tommy and the whole Moto Rapido team the best of luck.

It’s not just in the Superbike class where things are heating up though. The British Supersport class is going right down to the wire, and it’s currently R&G-protected Ben Currie who’s leading the way!

Things are just as close in the British Talent Cup, with R&G riders Carter Brown, Johnny Garness and Jamie Lyons all climbing the podium at Silverstone. After a pair of dramatic races, Brown is currently leading the way, but just 11 points are separating the top three in the standings!

In the Ducati TriOptions Cup, Josh Day is dominating the field, and another victory at Silverstone has seen him put one hand on the 2021 trophy.

2021 R&G Rookies’ Trophy

As things are getting tight at the top of the standings, many of the rookies’ across the paddock are beginning to shine as they get used to their machines. In the Supersport class, Rhys Irwin took two fantastic maiden podiums, making him our R&G Rookie of the Meeting.

Open to all riders making the step up to compete in their first full season in any Championship class, the 2021 R&G Rookies’ Trophy is beginning to heat up. The top two rookie riders in each class at the end of the season will be out in front of a panel of industry experts, who will choose their overall top three. These three winners will receive a host of prizes from R&G, Pirelli, LS2 Crash Helmets and WD-40, to support them in their next racing steps.
