BSB Season Heats Up!
The 2021 Bennetts British Superbike Championship made its first of two visits to Donington Park at the weekend, and the three races proved to be some of the most exciting in BSB history. The incredible races proved an incredibly successful weekend for our many R&G sponsored riders and teams.
For us, the highlight of the weekend was seeing Tommy Bridewell and the Moto Rapido team return to the top step of the podium in the weather-hit final race. That race also marked career-best results for Dean Harrison and Storm Stacey, while Donington also proved the best weekend of the year for Dan Linfoot and the TAG Honda team.
The success did not end there though. Ben Currie returned to the podium in the British Supersport class, while Casey O’Gorman and Josh Day also took wins in the British Talent Cup and Ducati TriOptions Cup, respectively.
2021 R&G Rookies’ Trophy
After climbing the rostrum for the first time in the British Supersport class with a pair of third places, Brandon Paasch is our R&G Rookie of the Meeting for Donington Park.
Open to all riders making the step up to compete in their first full season in any Championship class, the 2021 R&G Rookies’ Trophy is beginning to heat up. The top two rookie riders in each class at the end of the season will be out in front of a panel of industry experts, who will choose their overall top three. These three winners will receive a host of prizes from R&G, Pirelli, LS2 Crash Helmets and WD-40, to support them in their next racing steps.
