2019 Bennetts British Superbikes – Round 9 – Oulton Park
Oulton Park played host to the final Bennetts British Superbike Championship before the Showdown begins and it was an incredible weekend for our R&G-protected riders and teams.
Having confirmed his place in the Showdown last time out, Tommy Bridewell went all out to rack up further podium credits… securing the Oxford Racing Ducati teams maiden BSB victory with a dominant performance in the final race.
The Dickies British Supersport class saw another maiden win as Aero Knee Slider-wearing Brad Jones took to the top step of the podium, where he was joined by Gearlink Kawasaki’s James Westmoreland. The winning didn’t stop there though as fresh from winning British Talent Cup, Scott Ogden powered his Motostar Standard class machine to the top step again whilst Stauff Connect Academy’s Storm Stacey completed an incredible double in the Pirelli National Superstock 600 class.
With just three rounds remaining, we can’t wait to see what’s left in store!
R&G Rookies Trophy
The 2019 R&G Rookies’ Trophy sees the top two rookies in each Championship class at the end of the season put forward to a panel of judges, who’ll then pick the top three overall to receive a host of prizes from R&G, Pirelli and LS2 crash helmets.
With just three rounds remaining, the battle is heating up and here’s how things look after Oulton Park;
