2019 Bennetts British Superbikes – Round 8 – Cadwell Park
Round eight of the 2019 Bennetts British Superbike Championship saw the series roll in to Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire for the annual ‘Party in the Park’ and our R&G-protected riders and teams gave us plenty to celebrate!
In the BSB class, Tommy Bridewell continued his title challenge with a brace of podiums… confirming himself in the all-
important Showdown in the process! In the Dickies British Junior Supersport class, Brad Jones gave our Aero Knee Sliders a double showing on the podium with a pair of second places whilst James Westmoreland made an incredible return to the class with a podium in the second race. Equally as impressive was Mason Law, who secured victory and second place in the GP2 class.
Further R&G success came at the hands of Scott Ogden who took a pair of wins in the Motostar Standard class, whilst Asher Durham took victory in the GP class. GR Motosport’s Eemeli Lahti was able to match his best position of the year in the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 class, securing a fantastic fifth place.
R&G Rookies Trophy
Once again, the 2019 R&G Rookies’ Trophy sees the top two rookies in each Championship class at the end of the season put forward to a panel of judges, who’ll then pick the top three overall to receive a host of prizes from R&G, Pirelli and LS2 crash helmets.
