2019 Bennetts British Superbikes – Round 4 – Brands Hatch

The Bennetts British Superbike circus rolled into the iconic Kent circuit last weekend for the annual ‘Big Brands Bash’ and our R&G-supported riders and teams certainly helped create a party atmosphere!

Continuing their incredible performance so far this season, Tommy Bridewell and the Moto Rapido Ducati squad powered to two more podiums in both Superbike races, taking the lead at the top of the standings in the process. Joining him on the podium for the first time this year was Dan Linfoot, who narrowly missed out on claiming victory on the Santander Salt TAG Racing in the opening race.

Keeping the party going, rookie rider Eunan McGlinchey took his maiden victory in the Pirelli Superstock 600 class whilst Mason Law secured the win on the Quattro ABM machine in the opening Dickies British GP2 race and Scott Ogden claimed the double in the Hel Performance British Motostar Standard class. We’d also say a special shout out to Ben Wilson, who took an impressive fourth place on the Gearlink Kawasaki in the opening Supersport race.

R&G Rookies Trophy

Once again, the 2019 R&G Rookies’ Trophy sees the top two rookies in each Championship class at the end of the season be put forward to a panel of judges, who’ll then pick the top three overall to receive a host of prizes from R&G, Pirelli and LS2 crash helmets.

After an action-packed weekend at Brands Hatch, the current top two in each class are as follows;
