Best Weekend Yet For R&G Riders!
The legendary Brands Hatch circuit in Kent proved a happy hunting ground for our many R&G riders and teams in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship paddock!
With warm and sunny weather gracing the circuit for much of the weekend, it was a welcome return to the BSB podium Saturday afternoon for the R&G-protected Moto Rapido team and Tommy Bridewell, who took a strong third place. The pairing doubled up on their success on Sunday by taking another third place in the opening race on Sunday.
The success did not end there, though! Gearlink Kawasaki’s Luke Stapleford took third place in the opening British Supersport race before going one better in Sunday’s feature race. In the Honda British Talent Cup, Harrison Crosby was also able to add to the podium tally with a fantastic second place in the first race of the weekend.
In the Junior National Superstock class, Max Cook continued his championship challenge taking second place. After an incredible race-long battle, he narrowly missed out on victory by just 0.02s. Completing the podium haul, David Shoubridge took a win and second place in the Ducati TriOptions Cup, marking our most successful round of the season so far!
After two fantastic fourth places in the Ducati Trioptions Cup races, his best results of the year so far, Adon Davie is our R&G Rookie of the Meeting.
