2019 Bennetts British Superbikes – Round 2 – Oulton Park

The second round of the 2019 Bennetts British Superbike Championship saw the paddock roll into the picturesque Oulton Park circuit in Cheshire. With thousands of fans packing the grass banks around the circuit on Bank Holiday Monday, it was an action-packed afternoon of racing.

Once again, our R&G-protected riders and teams enjoyed a very successful weekend, most notably Moto Rapido Racing’s Tommy Bridewell who took a well-earned brace of second places in both Superbike races to now lead the Bennetts British Superbike Championship standings!

Elsewhere, the Aero Knee Slider-sporting Brad Jones who took another pair of third places in the British Supersport class whilst Asher Durham and Mark Cheetham doubled up on fourth places in the British Motostar and Ducati Cup races. In the Superstock 600 class, rookie rider Eunan McGlinchey had a fantastic ride to second place; his first podium of the season.

Oulton also marked the start of the Sidecar Championship, where our R&G-supported teams were out in action including Brian Gray & Jason Pitt, Chris Walker & Tom Christie and Alan Founds & Jake Lowther.
