R&G Technical Centre Returns For 2022
With the first Bennetts British Superbikes – R&G Official Test just a few weeks away, we’re excited to confirm that the R&G Technical Centre will be returning for 2022. The unit will once again be packed with our R&G crash protection products and other brands’ racing essentials, to ensure all competitors in the paddock will be able to protect their machines and continue their weekend in the event of a crash.
For 2022, the Centre will be managed by Jack Taylor. After getting his first bike when he was 5, he’s been hooked on motorcycles ever since and is no stranger to working in the busy world of biking. Before joining R&G, he was the Business Development Manager for QBEE in Malaysia, a major Kawasaki and Suzuki dealer, alongside being a distributor for a range of leading brands.
His time at QBEE saw him travelling around Asia, visiting customers alongside working at a range of events, including retailing at the Sepang MotoGP rounds in 2018 and 2019, as well as the 2020 Inside Racing Bike Festival and Trade Show in Manila.
Returning to the UK in March 2020, just as the pandemic started, he joined R&G full-time in May of that year. Initially being part of our front sales office, he quickly worked his way up, taking on several of our UK accounts, alongside various other responsibilities. Looking forward to taking on the new challenge of managing the R&G Technical Centre, Jack will be at each of the Bennetts British Superbikes – R&G Official Tests as well as every Bennetts British Superbike Championship round.
Speaking ahead of the first test at Snetterton, Jack said, “I’m really excited for the 2022 season to get underway! Racing has always been a huge part of the R&G history, and it is the perfect place for us to test and develop our range of products.
For 2022, our goal is to take the R&G Technical Centre and our involvement with the incredible Bennetts British Superbike Championship to new heights. Over the winter break, we have been busy working with our sponsored riders and teams, and I’m looking forward to meeting the rest of the paddock later this month!”
