R&G SET FOR BUMPER BSB SEASON IN 2021
As the world leader in crash protection products, R&G has been a staple of racing paddocks around the world for some two decades. The Hampshire-based company is pleased to confirm that in 2021, it will again be an Official Supplier to the Bennetts British Superbike Championship, its sixth consecutive season. Alongside this, R&G is also supporting up-and-coming riders with support packages for the Ducati TriOptions Cup and Honda British Talent Cup.
As an Official Supplier to the world’s largest domestic motorcycle series, R&G has enjoyed a substantial presence in the paddock for a number of years. Alongside protecting some of the biggest Superbike teams in the Championship, R&G also supports riders at all levels in the paddock with their crash protection requirements.
Stepping up its presence even further in 2021, R&G will be returning with a new-look, enhanced Paddock Support service that is set to become the heart of the racing community at all eleven rounds of the season.
Alongside being an Official Supplier to the Superbike class, the crash protection specialist is also providing riders in the 2021 Ducati TriOptions Cup and Honda British Talent Cup with a unique support package that includes a free set of R&G Race Engine Case Covers and a 30% discount on a range of essential crash protection and racing accessories.
Next season will also see the full R&G Rookies’ Trophy return - rewarding those riders making their debut in any given class in the BSB paddock. Full details will be released shortly.
R&G UK Sales Manager Alan Garrett added, “We are incredibly proud to be back supporting the entire British Superbike paddock for 2021. R&G has enjoyed a fantastic presence in the paddock over the past five years, and we have some very exciting plans in place to take that even further next season.
Racing is a critical part of our research and development, allowing us to create innovative, world-leading crash protection products to help regular road riders protect their pride and joy. Our involvement in the world’s most successful domestic series allows us to put our products through the ultimate test at the hands of some of the most talented riders in the world.”
British Superbike Championship Series Director, Stuart Higgs said, “I am delighted that we can continue our long-standing partnership with R&G into the 2021 season.
“This association has continued to grow since the partnership began, particularly through involvement with the support classes, including the Honda British Talent Cup in 2020, in addition to the Ducati TriOptions Cup. As part of the support class support, we are looking forward to the return of the R&G Rookies Trophy in 2021, which highlights some of the upcoming talent in our sport.”
