2019 Race Teams - TAG Racing
It’s all change for the TAG Racing outfit for 2019, as the team welcome a brand new title sponsor to become the Santander Salt TAG Racing team! Retaining the services of Shaun Winfield, the second Yamaha R1 will be piloted by Dan Linfoot and with the duo having plenty of saddle time over the winter they’ll be looking to come out swinging at Silverstone. 
Now in our third full season as their official crash protection supplier, we’ve enjoyed plenty of success with the family run team (including narrowly missing out on the BSB title in 2017) so can’t wait to see what this year will bring. Both R1’s will be protected by our Crash Protectors, Rearsets, Cotton Reels, Tail Sliders, Carbon Fibre Lever Guards and Toe Guard. Both machines will also be breathing right thanks to the R&G-distributed BMC Air Filters. We’ll also be providing Shaun with our Aero Knee Sliders.
The team won’t just be represented in the Superbike class though as Shaun’s crew chief, a certain Mr Chris Walker, will be returning to the saddle of his Sidecar to take on the Hyundai Construction Equipment British Sidecar Championship! If you’re heading to the official test at Silverstone tomorrow, keep your eyes out for the new look squad as they make their debut in their new colours…
