R&G 2018 teams…Team WD-40!
Next up on our rundown of 2018 supported teams and riders are long-term supporters, GR Motosport. Forming back in 1995, the team have secured an incredible twelve British titles (and one European!) so are no strangers to success. Joining forces with them back in 2006, we’ve worked together to improve our crash protection - with the Team playing a pivotal role in the development of our latest generation of Engine Case Covers.
Running as Team WD-40 Kawasaki in the Superbike class, they’ve signed Mason Law who’ll be stepping up to the blue-riband category for the first time – where he’ll no doubt be challenging for top spot in our R&G Rookies’ Trophy. Alongside the Superbike, GR Motosport will again have the STAUFF Quick Connect Academy Kawasaki out in the Superstock 1000 class with Alastair Seeley, as well as the all-new DR-Moto 3 machine with Liam Delves.
All three bikes will again be sporting a swathe of R&G accessories: namely our Aero Crash Protectors, Race Series Engine Case Covers, Radiator Guards, Cotton Reels, Rearsets, Toe Guards, Exhaust Hangers and Tank Sliders.
Speaking ahead of the season, Brent Gladwin, Managing Director of GR Motosport said "We continue to enjoy a great relationship with R&G, who in our mind are simply the best in the business. We use all of their race products with pride and, yes, sometimes our riders do test the R&G crash protection products. They offer a fantastic and friendly paddock service and we would recommend their full range of products to any motorcyclist, no matter what and where you ride!”
